1.- PURPOSE OF THE COOKIES POLICY
Pursuant to that established in article 22 of law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society and Electronic Commerce Services, the purpose of this document is to inform you of the usage policy for storage devices and data recovery in terminal equipment (hereinafter cookies) of Oficina Técnica de Estudios y Control de Obras S.A. (OFITECO) (hereinafter also identified as OFITECO), due to its status as an information society service provider, through the website www.ofiteco.com, for the purpose of allowing you to decide whether or not to authorize the use of cookies in terminal equipment that you use for navigating through the site.
2.- WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are files that are downloaded onto your computer or other device when you access certain web pages. They collect information about your browsing habits on the website in question. Among other features, they allow a web page to store and recover information about the browsing habits of a user or their equipment and, depending on the information obtained, they can be used to recognise the user and improve the service that is offered.
3.- COOKIE CLASSIFICATION AND THEIR USE ON THIS WEBSITE
Depending on the entity that manages the domain from where cookies are send and manages the data that is obtained, cookies can be classified as being one of two types: own cookies and third party cookies.
There is also a second cookie classification depending on the amount of time that they are stored in the client's browser; they can be session cookies or persistent cookies.
Lastly, cookies can be classified into five different types based on the purpose for which the obtained data is processed: technical cookies, personalisation cookies, analysis cookies, advertising cookies and behavioural advertising cookies
The following cookies are used by OFITECO:
- Performance cookies: this type of cookie remembers your preferences for tools included in the services, so you don't have to reconfigure them whenever you visit the website (such as language, video player volume adjustment, browser compatible video transmission speed, etc.)
- Geolocation cookies: these cookies are used to find out in which country you are located when you request a service. They are completely anonymous and are only used to adapt content to your location
- Analytical cookies: Every time you visit the site, a tool provided by an external supplier (Google Analytics) generates an analytical cookie on your computer. This cookie helps to anonymously identify the user, their browser and device, not the person. It also counts visitor numbers and their trends over time (finding out if they are new or repeat visitors, anonymously identifying the most visited and most attractive content, etc.). These cookies are only used for statistical purposes to help optimise the user's experience.
In no case is OFITECO responsible for the content or accuracy of third party policies or usage and privacy conditions of third parties included in these conditions through links published herein.
In any case, and in relation to the cookie types that have been listed and described, it is possible to configure the options of the browser installed on your equipment to allow or deactivate cookie storage, or to configure their deletion.
Deactivating or deleting the installation and use of cookies may mean that certain services and content on this website could become limited or inactive.
