Maintenance and operation contract of Automatic Hydrological Information Network of Water Authority of Jucar River Basin (Spain)

OFITECO provided technical assistance in the maintenance and operation of the Automated Hydro-Meteorological Information System in the Júcar River Basin, which is operated by the Júcar River Basin Authority (C.H.J.)

The main tasks developed included:

-       Preventive and corrective maintenance of 199 gauge points, 12 concentration points and the Basin Control Centre

-       System operation for the management of water resources as well as flood management

-       Assistance to the director of the works in the reservoir management and operation tasks and assistance in the decision-making process

-       Development of hydrological studies (flood forecasting models, hydraulic models, etc.), and reports on the use of water resources
